Smart Campus Project
EUROICC is working on a new Ringbus project, together with Belimo. Smart Campus in Vienna is a new corporate headquarters, built by Wiener Netze GmbH, Austria's largest hybrid net operator for gas, district heat, electricity and optical fibre nets. The building shall support smart interaction between users, infrastructure and energy supply. The most important features of the Campus are energy efficiency, high functionality and control management. Attention has been paid to environmental issues (by using ecological material, and by energy consumption control) and to accessibility.
For Smart Campus project, Belimo will provide new actuators for fire dampers with MP BUS communication and EUROICC will provide corresponding new BKN modules. This is the first time in the world that this kind of MP Bus actuators is being used. Advantages include considerably reduced wiring expenses, a clearer arrangement, substantially higher functionality, as well as cost savings.
